Is anything I write actually sent?

No. The app has no internet access, and nothing you write ever leaves your iPhone.

I forgot my PIN. Can you reset it?

No — and that’s on purpose. We never have your PIN or your data. After 5 wrong attempts everything is erased, and you can start again with a new PIN.

Are my chats in my iCloud backup?

No. They are excluded from backups. If you switch or reset your iPhone, your chats won’t come with you.

How do I change the language?

In the app, open Settings → Language. It takes you to iOS Settings → Just Say It! → Language, where you can pick English, Русский, Español or Deutsch.

What are ghost replies?

Short lines your imaginary contact can “answer” with, picked at random from styles you can edit in Settings → Ghost Replies. There is no one on the other side.

How do I delete everything?

Settings → Burn Everything removes all contacts and messages permanently. Deleting the app does the same.

Is it free?

Yes, completely. Tips are optional and handled by Apple.
