How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings › About › Code Viewer Pro and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
Open Settings › About › Code Viewer Pro and tap Manage Subscription, or use your Apple Account’s subscriptions in iOS Settings. Cancel at least a day before the renewal date, or before a free trial ends, to avoid being charged.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are processed by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I bought Premium in version 2. Do I have to pay again?
No. Whoever bought Premium in version 2 has Pro free, forever. If it doesn’t show, tap Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account.
What is free and what needs Pro?
Reading is free: importing, every language and preview, search, editing local files, GitHub sign-in, private repositories, and reading pull requests and issues. Pro adds the review workflow: line comments, reviews, merging, Push, GitLab and Bitbucket, Explain Changes and notifications. Your first review and three explanations are free.
How do I connect my account?
Open Settings and sign in to GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket. Your tokens are stored only in your device’s Keychain. The privacy policy says where they’re sent.
Why don’t I get notifications?
Notifications work with GitHub and need Pro. Turn them on in the app and install the “CodeViewer Notifications” GitHub App when asked, then check that iOS Settings allows notifications for Code Viewer.
What do I need for Explain Changes?
Your own API key for Anthropic or OpenAI. The request goes directly from your device to that provider, under your key and its terms.
Can I build or run code?
No. Code Viewer isn’t an IDE: it’s made for reading, reviewing and quick fixes.
How do I turn off usage statistics?
Open Settings › About and turn off Share Anonymous Usage Statistics. What they contain is described in the privacy policy.
